Control & Debuff Effects

Sleep

Perk/Ability

Immobilizes target. Affected enemies cannot take damage until they wake up. Useful for isolating dangerous enemies.

Stun

Perk/Ability

Fear

Perk/Ability

Affected enemies flee and avoid your voidling. Useful for crowd control and creating safe repositioning windows.

Invisibility

Perk/Ability

Enemies can no longer target you. Does not prevent AoE damage. Excellent for escaping dangerous situations.

Marked

Perk/Ability

Triggers bonus effects from specific perks. Marked enemies take increased damage from certain ability types.

Armor Reduction

Certain abilities

Lowers enemy armor, increasing all direct damage dealt. Stacks with elemental weaknesses for maximum damage.

Important: Damage Cap

All percentage-based status effects (Burn, Poison, Bleed, Frostbite) are subject to a damage cap that prevents them from trivializing bosses. Raising your voidling's attributes (especially Essence) increases the damage cap and multiplier, allowing your DoT effects to scale into endgame content.
